We Are One

The Community Foundation of the Tri-County Area and the Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut have merged to serve the 42 cities and towns of New London, Windham, and the eastern half of Tolland counties

"We spent a year researching, discussing, and designing a new, unified model of philanthropy for all of eastern Connecticut," reported Community Foundation Board Chair Laurel Butler. "We needed a single institution that could be respectful of the individuality of each of the towns, remain flexible and creative, and yet be cost efficient. We’re confident we’ve found it."

For the time being, the newly merged organization will be known as the Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut, with a Tri-County division. Inquiries may be directed to the Community Foundation of Southeastern Connecticut at 1-877-442-3572 (toll free) or 860-442-3572 or or alison@cfsect.org
